Accessibility

Access for every member of the school community.

Last updated: October 12, 2026

GoPBIS is working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is part of our ongoing design, development, and testing process.

Our approach

We aim to provide clear page structure, keyboard access, visible focus, readable color contrast, text alternatives for meaningful images, understandable forms, and status information that assistive technology can identify.

Current improvement work

GoPBIS has completed its current structural inventory of programmatic form labels across top-level pages, including authentication, Student Life, student directory and detail, PBIS stores and rewards, Behavior Tracking, reports, School Setup, and trackers. Shared staff dialogs now include keyboard focus containment, Escape handling, and focus restoration. We are continuing manual keyboard, zoom, contrast, and screen-reader testing. Because this work is still in progress, this statement does not claim that every GoPBIS page currently conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Request help or report a barrier

If you have difficulty using GoPBIS, email support@gopbis.com. Include the page or task, the problem encountered, and the browser or assistive technology used when you are comfortable sharing it. Do not email a password or unnecessary student information.

For an immediate school accommodation or another way to complete a school task, contact your school. GoPBIS will work with the school to address platform barriers.

Ongoing review

We will update this statement as testing expands and material accessibility improvements are completed.
